A singular artistic vision combines with vigorous athleticism in the works of Elisa Monte Dance. Our Mission States:

In order to advance and enrich the art of dance, Elisa Monte Dance will present the choreography of Elisa Monte to an American and international audience to create a bridge between cultures.

 Elisa Monte Dance Goals:

• Train and maintain a select group of professional dancers of multi-ethnic origin, capable of meeting the artistic and physical demands of the choreographers’ work.
• Commission work from distinguished artists in other disciplines for collaborative projects.
• Educate individuals in the art of movement, and audiences in the appreciation of live dance performance.

30 Weeks of Dance Initiative Fully Realized      

The 30^th Anniversary fundraising initiative to employ our dancers for 30 weeks during the 2010/11 Season was met successfully!  We obtained all 30 weeks through generous support from numerous donors.  The company was in rehearsal for 22 weeks, performing domestically for 6 weeks and performed internationally for 2 weeks during this triumphant anniversary season.  Thank you all for contributing to the success of our efforts and for letting our dancers work.
