North Dakota Residency

The company was in residency at Dickinson State University in Dickinson, North Dakota from Jan 22 – 28.  EMD gave master classes to the students at Dickinson as well as the public in a series of workshops.  The residency concluded with a public performance, taking place the evening of Friday January 27th.  Ms. Monte and the dancers immensely enjoyed an immersive week of dancing and the opportunity to share the work with a new community.

NYC SPRING SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT

  Save the Date!  Elisa Monte Dance is very pleased to announce its 2012 Season at Ailey Citigroup Theater

  April 12th, 13th, and 14th. Three premieres, Gala April 13th. More information to come, so stay tuned!

Thank you to all who attended EMD’s APAP Showings the first week of January!  Thank you to Focus Dance and City Center Studios  for hosting such a successful event.  The company performed excerpts of repertory that spans Ms. Monte’s 31 years of work; White Dragon, Shattered, Amor Fati, and Tears Rolling.
